While the 15 note import is still perfectly fine, the 18note import again seems to be faulty towards the ending. I set both sequences to step length 1/8 and step count 32. Then I repeated the import of the two example midi files. I fixed the settings in the example project. This goes for all things on the blackbox, it is such a pleasure to work with it and really feels like a 'thing from the future' compared to my other samplers. BTW it is a pleasure how easy it is with the blackbox to switch between OS versions, this makes this sort of testing such a breeze. Is it the same? is it what you expect?I did all the things you suggested, here are the results. Mostly, I want to compare what is going in and coming out. I'm also curious to know what happens when you set Logic to record this data into a Logic sequence region. I'm curious to know what this data looks like on a MIDI monitor. If you change that to 32 (the number of steps in that file), it does playback the same as the other one. The sequence you shared that is labeled "broken," does have an incorrect step count. So it is possible you are overloading the box with unnecessary data (maybe maybe not). KEYS sequences can be assigned to send MIDI but they also, by default, send data to the selected pad. Next, if you are sending this data to the outside world, you should be using a MIDI sequence and not a KEYS sequence. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I ask for a video of the results. First, it's great to hear that you are controlling a lighting rig with the blackbox. Thanks for trying with 3.0.1 - and for sharing the files.
